Dinalupihan ordinance grants additional aid to senior citizens

Senior citizens in the municipality are set to receive additional financial assistance as a newly amended ordinance has been approved, providing much-needed support to elderly residents.

The initiative, led by Councilor “Kabayan” Noli Soriano, aims to expand benefits for seniors and ensure their well-being.

Under the revised ordinance, all senior citizens aged 75 to 79 will receive a cash aid of ₱5,000. This adjustment reflects the local government’s commitment to recognizing and assisting the elderly, who have contributed significantly to the community.

Mayor Tong Santos emphasized that this financial aid is just one of many programs dedicated to improving the quality of life for senior citizens. Alongside monetary support, the municipality continues to prioritize healthcare and other social services to uplift the elderly population.
