The Internal Audit Services (IAS) is mandated to conduct a separate evaluation or appraisal of internal control system to determine whether controls are well designed and properly implemented. In the conduct of evaluation, the IAS shall determine the extent of compliance and assess the adequacy of controls embedded in operating and support systems/units, as well as evaluate the performance of programs, projects, and activities of the LGU.

Takes charge of the management and safeguarding of all the information resources and ICT equipment of the province by developing information systems and ensuring the reliability of network at all times.

The Cultural Heritage Preservation Division is responsible for the preservation of the province's cultural heritage through various programs of the Provincial Government.

Takes charge of the transport and traffic management of the province which includes the formulation, coordination and monitoring of policies, standards, programs and projects to rationalize the existing transport operations, infrastructure requirements, the use of thoroughfares, and promotions of safe and convenient movement of persons and goods, provisions for the mass transport system and the institution of a system to regulate road users; administration and implementation of all traffic education programs.

Implements required actions and measures pertaining to all aspects of disaster risk reduction and management, including good governance, risk assessment and early warning, knowledge building and awareness raising, reducing underlying risk factors and preparedness for effective response and early recovery.

Strengthens support to local government entities in developing and implementing their infrastructure and development projects that involves government(s) and business(es) that work together to complete a project and/or to provide services to the public.

Provides social protection and promote the rights and welfare of the poor, vulnerable and the disadvantaged individual, family and community to contribute to poverty alleviation and empowerment through social welfare and development policies, programs, projects and services implemented with or through local government units, non-government organizations, other government offices and other members of civil society in the province.

Supervises, coordinates, orients and leads in overall flow of activities of Iskolar ng Bataan.
