Road network leading to Bataan Provincial Government’s integrated waste management facility or the sanitary landfill category 4 project is under way.
This was disclosed by Congressman Albert S. Garcia of Bataan’s Second District in an interview last week in Limay town during the opening of the first Kadiwa Store in the province.
Congressman Garcia said the landfill will soon operate once road networks are completed just in time since the waste management facility in Clark ceased operation last year.
Most of Bataan’s towns used to dispose their garbage at the Clark waste management facility which proved “too costly”. A municipality allots a budget between P800,000 to P1 million a month for garbage concern alone. The Bataan landfill, when fully operational will benefit local government units.
