AboitizPower subsidiaries GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co. (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin (GNPD) are partners of the Provincial Government of Bataan (PGB) for environmental conservation.

GMEC is currently implementing the Baka1Bataan Mangrove Adoption and Protection Project in Orani in partnership with  PGB, DENR, Orani LGU,  and Tubo-tubo Fisherfolks Association. GMEC signed the agreement providing funds for the project in 2023. GNPD also launched another mangrove rehabilitation project in Samal.

GNPD supports the Sagip Pawikan Sitio Fuerte Hatchery in Morong and pledged to continue the assistance for the next five years from 2026 to 2031.

Local officials led by Gov. Joet Garcia commended GNPD and GMEC for their commitment to environmental conservation in Bataan.
