Parents can now avail of low-priced consumer items– from food stuff to school supplies, shirts, shoes, bags, and other household items at the Balanga Plaza Mayor in Balanga City.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Bataan) launched on Wednesday the Diskwento Caravan for the forthcoming school opening. The caravan will last up to Friday (May 16).
Eileen Ocampo, DTI provincial director, said during the opening that the Diskwento Caravan is something different from other government consumer programs in that “it offers items at really discounted prices for the local consumers.”
More than 60 business locators have offered their products for local market goers who look for consumers items at discounted price but with quality. The local traders were joined by other businessmen from neighboring Central Luzon provinces.
Ocampo expressed her profound gratitude to local government units of Bataan for readily accommodating the business sector and small-medium industry to sell their products right at the Balanga Plaza.
