Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia emerged as one of the top-performing provincial leaders in the country, according to the latest Youth Satisfaction and Trust Ratings Survey released by the Institute for Global Education Exchange and Internship (IGEEI).
Garnering an impressive 89% satisfaction rating, Gov. Garcia was highlighted for his strong governance, effective leadership, and public service delivery. The nationwide survey, conducted by IGEEI, reflects the perspectives of young Filipinos on the performance of provincial governors. It serves as a barometer of youth satisfaction, focusing on expectations, priorities, and governance standards. An 85% threshold was used to determine inclusion in the list of top governors, based on comprehensive indicators and evaluations by a panel of experts.
Joining Gov. Garcia at the top are Gov. Daniel R. Fernando of Bulacan, Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia of Cebu, and Gov. Susan A. Yap of Tarlac, all of whom also achieved the 89% satisfaction mark. These leaders were commended for their responsiveness and dedication to youth-centric programs and inclusive development.
Also cited for their progress in good governance were Gov. Ann K. Hofer of Zamboanga Sibugay, Gov. Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu of Sultan Kudarat, and Gov. Matthew M. Manotoc of Ilocos Norte.
