Gov. Joet Garcia took the opportunity during Monday’s flag-raising ceremony to explain the Meritocracy Bill authored by 2nd District Rep. Abet Garcia.

He said the bill aims to make every branch and agency of the government more productive and actively involved in national development. It proposes the creation of standards to measure good governance in local government units. He said those that meet these standards will be recognized and rewarded for their outstanding performance.

Gov. Garcia also thanked the people of Bataan for the renewed trust and opportunity to serve them. He expressed his continued commitment to support programs and initiatives that will help improve the province and the quality of life of Bataeño families.The post Gov.
